Muslims with Special Needs (Prayercast)

In an increasingly globalized world, the impact of people who fight for the rights of the disabled now extends into Muslim countries.
Even still, in many places, Muslims who have special needs are shunned, marginalized, and discriminated against.
Some believe that disabilities exist because of a curse; others think they were created with a disability as a test.
For many Muslim families, “honor and shame” are foundational forces in daily life. They tend to hide away and dismiss disabled relatives out of a sense of shame.
Every individual with special needs is of high value to Jesus, no matter their country of origin or religion.
He holds them in great honor! Valuable enough to receive salvation, a hope, and a future.
May they learn there is no shame found in the name of Jesus!
